Every year, in March, the embassies of the member countries of the International Organization of La Francophonie in Mexico come together to showcase French language and francophone culture in the country through a series of activities that take place as part of la Nuit de la Poésie (Poetry Night). In 2016, the first Nuit de la Poésie that was organized was a success, attracting more than 1,500 participants to an entire night of poetry readings, music, screenings and dialogue.
This year, like last year, Poetry Night will be held on Facebook due to the health situation. On March 24 and 25, join us to celebrate Francophonie Month and to explore the theme of ephemerality by enjoying
performances by various francophone artists and films from around the world, including Belgium, Canada (New Brunswick, Quebec and Northwest Territories), Congo, France, Mexico, Madagascar, and Switzerland.
